Terms of Use

These terms apply to your use of MotyApp.ro, operated by MOTY CONSULTANCE S.R.L., a company registered in Romania (CUI 38556110, trade register no. J23/5998/2017, registered office: Strada Sofia nr. 6, Otopeni, Ilfov County, Romania). By using the app you agree to them. If you do not agree, please do not use the app.

1. What the app is

MotyApp.ro is a Chinese almanac and a set of calculation tools: Tong Shu, BaZi, Qi Men Dun Jia, Feng Shui, date selection, I Ching and Moty Oracle. It is offered as a beta: features can change, and parts of it may be unavailable from time to time.

MotyApp Lite is free and needs no account. MotyApp Pro is not sold through the app; where it is offered, its conditions are agreed separately.

2. Who may use the app

You must be at least 16 years old to use the app.

3. Your account

You can use the app without an account. If you sign in, you are responsible for what happens under your account and for keeping your Google account secure. You can delete your account at any time from My Space.

4. What you may not do

You agree not to:

  • use the app to break the law or to harm another person;
  • enter another person's details without their agreement or another lawful reason;
  • try to access data that is not yours, or to disrupt or overload the service;
  • copy the app's content in bulk, by automated means or otherwise, or resell it.

5. Content and ownership

What you enter and save remains yours. The app itself, its design, its texts, the Moty Oracle cards, images and recordings belong to MOTY CONSULTANCE S.R.L. or are used with permission, and are protected by copyright. You may use them for your own personal or professional readings; you may not republish them.

6. No guarantee

We work to keep the calculations correct and the service available, but the app is provided as it is, without any guarantee. Calculation methods differ between schools and sources; where we made a choice, we try to say so.

Keep your own copy of anything important. Without an account, what you save exists only in your browser.

7. Liability

To the extent the law allows, MOTY CONSULTANCE S.R.L. is not liable for decisions you make on the basis of the app, or for loss of data stored in your browser. Nothing in these terms limits the rights you have as a consumer under the law.

8. Ending use

You can stop using the app at any time. We can suspend an account that is used to break these terms.

9. Law and contact

These terms are governed by the law of Romania. Write to contact@moty.ro. We answer within 30 days.
