2. Tendencies, not outcomes

BaZi, Qi Men Dun Jia, Feng Shui, date selection, the I Ching and the Oracle describe tendencies and timing as traditional systems read them. They do not predict events and they guarantee no result.

3. The decision is yours

What you do with a reading is your own decision and your own responsibility. Do not make an important decision on the basis of the app alone.

4. How the calculations are made

The charts are calculated by the app's own engine from the details you enter. A small error in the time or place of birth can change a chart. Schools of practice differ; the app follows the conventions it states on each page.

5. Data sources and credits

The app uses the following third-party data and software, under their licences:

• City names, coordinates and time zones: GeoNames (geonames.org), licensed under CC BY 4.0.
• Street map in the Feng Shui home view: © OpenStreetMap contributors, data available under the Open Database License (ODbL), openstreetmap.org/copyright.
• Satellite imagery in the Feng Shui home view: Esri World Imagery (sources: Esri, Maxar, Earthstar Geographics).
• Magnetic declination: the World Magnetic Model 2025 (NOAA and the British Geological Survey).
• Astronomical and calendar calculations: astronomy-engine, lunar-typescript and Luxon, all under the MIT licence.
